Senior Pastor Denny Emmons

Denny has served as Senior Pastor (Teaching Elder) of the growing congregation of Gingellville Community Church since April 2000. His goal is to make the Bible relevant to the challenges people face in today’s society. He says of himself, “I am not a church maintainer, but a Christ promoter.” It is his desire to see lives impacted through Christ.

Denny and his wife, Bonnie have two grown children and five grandchildren. He is a graduate of Grand Valley University and Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary.

Youth Pastor Joshua Yates

Josh is a graduate of Corbin College (formerly known as Western Baptist College) in Salem, Oregon, with a Bachelor of Science in Youth Ministry and a Church Music minor. Josh is in the midst of obtaining his Master’s of Arts in Religion (Pastoral Counseling) at Liberty University and plans on graduating in 2009.

He served as Interim Worship Pastor of First Baptist Church in Salem, Oregon and Associate Pastor of Youth\Children’s\Music Ministries at Grace Baptist Church in Yuba City, California, before coming to Gingellville Community Church in October of 2003.

Josh and his wife, Jeannie, have one daughter.
