Ark Almighty

What is Ark Almighty?

It's a good deeds program that matches up the needs of our congregation - community with the talents and skills of the members of our church. Can you balance a checkbook? Can you mow a lawn? Can you teach someone basic computer skills? You might not think of these everyday activities as volunteering, but for the people around you who CAN'T do them, your ability and your willingness to help is exactly what they need. I believe as we begin this ministry we're going to be amazed how simple acts of kindness can change lives!

Here's how it works:

At our site (click on the ark ArkALMIGHTY icon below, then click on the GO icon next to Find My Church) you will see the needs which have been posted. If you see any need(s) you can help with then click on the click here to help icon ( By the way, if you don't see any need(s) posted this means at the present time there are no need(s) ) This will direct you to the helper registration form. After you have filled out the form and submitted it you will be contacted and arrangements will be made for you to help meet this need(s). Also if YOU have a need you can also post it as well. Simply click on the Add a Need icon and fill out the form.

In closing:

ArkALMIGHTY helps us live out the words of Jesus found in Matthew 25 and John 13. Then these righteous ones will reply, "Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink? Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing? When did we ever see you sick or in prison, and visit you?" And the King (Jesus) will tell them, "I assure you, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!" (Matthew 25:37-40) "So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples." (John 13:34).
