Children's Ministry

Purpose Statement: Our purpose is to help children grow into healthy young people by providing them an opportunity to respond to the good news of Jesus Christ in an atmosphere of fun and acceptance.

Philosophy of Children's Ministry

We believe children function best in an atmosphere of "relaxed structure." An environment of acceptance and love allows freedom for the Holy Spirit to work in each child's life, and to develop his/her unique personality and talents.

We use a Bible centered curriculum designed to teach Christian principles. We believe that children need to do more than memorize. They need to see how those principles work in their own lives.

Close supervision by screened workers insures that every child is well protected. Parents are welcome to observe any class at any time. We want parents to be comfortable with where their children are and what they are doing.

Nursery/Childcare Classes (Birth - age 5); all services

Children's Church (K-5th Grades) Sundays; 9:45 am

Graded Sunday School; 11:00 am

Sunday Evening Children's Choir; 6:00 pm

Pioneer Clubs Wednesday 6:40-8:00 (September-April)

Vacation Bible School (Each July)

Children's Musicals (December)

Summer Camp Program (Varies by Age Group)
